\nhave a <\/span>high risk of explosion<\/span>. <\/span>Flours<\/span>, <\/span>sugars <\/span>or <\/span>aluminum dusts <\/span>are well known as an explosion hazard.
\nBut even the dust of products such as <\/span>fertilizers<\/span>, <\/span>rubber<\/span>, <\/span>tobacco<\/span>, <\/span>spices <\/span>and <\/span>many other substances
\n<\/span>can cause explosions. Therefore, when processing such products, conductive big bags must be used.
\nGrounding is required for these types of big bags to prevent ignition due to <\/span>electrostatic charges<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE<\/strong>
\n<\/span>The Grounding Control Device EKX-FIBC provides and <\/span>monitors a safe grounding connection
\n<\/span>between the big bag and the designated ground point via <\/span>two active clamps<\/span>. Additionally, the
\n<\/span>digital measuring technology <\/span>prevents misuse or bypassing of the device by means of <\/span>automatic
\nobject recognition<\/span>. A filling release via the <\/span>electronic control outputs <\/span>and the highly visible LED
\nindicator is only given if the connected Big Bag is properly recognized and safely grounded via both
\nclamps. In case of an interruption of the ground connection, the control outputs lock and the <\/span>optical
\nLED indicator <\/span>changes from green to red.<\/span><\/p>\n

HANDLING<\/strong>
\n<\/span>The EKX-FIBC can be used in gas and dust explosive atmospheres up to <\/span>Zone 1\/21<\/span>. The main unit can
\nbe mounted at a distance of <\/span>up to 20m <\/span>to the workplace. The <\/span>cable quick couplings <\/span>at the optional
\nexternal measuring module and the <\/span>plain text diagnostic display <\/span>in the main unit allow <\/span>easy initial
\ninstallation, handling and maintenance<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
